Purple Lemonade Organization Recipients

Purple Lemonade has been experiencing rapid growth each season! The abundant items to share with others have blessed individuals and other mission projects. Below is a list of missions and other organizations that Purple Lemonade currently serves.

SOS Bryan/College Station, Texas – Purple Lemonade donates many items to help people involved in this inner-city mission. Donations in the past have included household items, clothing of all kinds and sizes, cleaning supplies, furniture and numerous other items.

SOS Bryan/College Station, Texas – Prom Project – Purple Lemonade along with donations from Second Hand Rose, a West Texas resale shop, donated approximately twenty five formal dresses to this very special project. Purple Lemonade workers are currently accepting donations of formal wear and accessories to be used next spring.

Lakota Indian Nation, South Dakota – Purple Lemonade is working to collect warm clothing and other items to help the Lakota Indians during the extreme cold South Dakota winters. Items collected will be taken to a family in the Dallas area. This family works with their local church mission to the Lakotas. During the summer several church members travel to South Dakota to deliver the many things they have collected. In seasons past, the church mission has helped to build a church and repair homes while spreading God’s message of love and hope.

Agape Church Youth Eldorado, Texas – Purple Lemonade has donated many items to help this youth group’s annual church garage sale. Proceeds from this sale are used to help send their youth to summer church camp. In addition to selling items, the youth group also donates items to the needy in their local area.

Abused Women and Children in Need – Purple Lemonade reaches out to help abused women and their children with clothing, food, personal items, etc. to help make life easier and happier. At this time, Purple Lemonade is not working with a specific charity or organization that serves abused women and their families; however, Purple Lemonade workers and their supporters are personally reaching out to specific women and children who are known to be in great need.
